- Prices are for within Detroit city limits. Outside this area, we charge a $20 travel fee.

CHILDREN’S PARTIES
Ice Cream Party: What could be more fun than a birthday party with handmade ice cream! Hand picked flavors to match your kid’s preferences (and their birthday cake). Kids will learn how ice cream is made and get to take a turn cranking it in the old fashioned ice cream maker. Activity run time can range from 30 minutes to 1 hr. depending on needs. ($250)
Pickling: This basic introduction to fermentation is great fun for kids! Can make a great party activity, or work in a classroom setting. Kids will each learnhow to make a jar of cucumber pickles or sauerkraut (depending on preference and seasonality) and will learn the basic science behind fermentation. They’ll get to make their own labels and in 1 week, they’ll taste their creations! ($225)
ADULT EVENTS
Preserving YOUR Harvest: This 3 hour workshop/preserving party is for anyone from gardeners to friends who want to get together to put up food for the winter! This event can take a variety of shapes and include a variety of techniques, depending of your group’s needs. ($300)
Ice Cream Making: Learn to make either or both non-dairy and dairy based ice creams! Not only will you get to create and sample an array of creative confections, but you’ll also learn how to create ice creams in your own home, from quick and easy to well balanced and complex, ice cream you’ll scream for! ($375)
